What are the programs available and the prices of the packages?

Season Pass*

A 2013 Season Pass* costs €19.99 and includes all the following streams and videos for the entire season*:

17 Live Broadcasts
Post-race Replays.
14 Magazines Shows
Over 100 hours of archive content

Event Pass

An Event Pass costs €5.99 and includes access to the following for a single event:

Both Men’s and Women’s races Live
Both Men’s and Women’s races on-demand
The one-hour magazine show of the event

* 2013 Season Pass valid until March 1 2014.

Do I need to login to access the free coverage?

No. Click on the live menu and the page will load with the free coverage.
If you want to add video you will need to subscribe or login if you have already subscribed to a season pass. All video streams are the TV quality feeds.

I can’t find the option to purchase a Event Pass. How do I do this?

To purchase a event pass you must first select the video you wish to watch.
Select a video from the Video page or from the Live page once available.

My login no longer works. What happened?

The system will tell you whether it’s a problem with your email or password.

Email: Are you are using the correct email address? Did you use a different email account? Are you spelling your address correctly?
2009 and 2010 account holders will need to create a new account.
At the start of 2011 we migrated to a new and improved system. Unfortunately we were unable to bring across all the user accounts.

Password: Please use the Forgot Password option under the login box.

I entered the wrong email / I would like to change my password. How do I edit this?

Click on the Account menu to edit your login details.

What do I need to access video?

You need a computer with an internet connection of at least 1Mbps download speed, a web browser that has the latest Flash plug-in plus a subscription to triathlonlive.tv.
First, you need to make sure you have Flash installed, as the video player is a Flash movie. Download the free Flash Player here.
If you have Flash installed and videos still won’t play:
1. Try reloading the page
You do this by holding down the shift button on your keyboard and hitting the reload button on your browser or F5.
2. You may need to reinstall Flash on your computer
Step 1 is to uninstall any previous version of Flash (uninstall directions). Then download the most recent version of the Flash Player and install.

What does the free live coverage include?

Live audio commentary, live interactive text updates, live timing and local information.

Are there any geoblocking restrictions?

Unfortunately video feed is currently blocked in a very small number of countries.
If you are a resident of one of these countries you will be informed prior to any attempt to purchase.
We apologise for the inconvience and we are working to ensure all our content is available worldwide.

I need a receipt. Where can I get one?

Click on the Account menu to print a receipt. You can edit your login details here also.

I don’t have a Credit Card. Is there an alternative method of payment?

Unfortunately not. Our system can only accept Visa/Mastercard payments at this time.

Is the website secure?

Yes. We use HTTPS with SSL to provide industry standard encyption.

Can I embed the video on my site?

No. Video rights are owned by our commercial partners including rights holding broadcasters.
It is a copyright violation to do so.

Is it possible to download the different races and other videos?

Downloading of video files is not permissible. According to the “Terms and Conditions” users are prohibited to copy, reproduce, download, store, forward, distribute, sell or use for commercial intentions the content of Triathlonlive.tv.

Why won’t the video play smoothly?

Users on slower connections or an old computer may experience difficulty playing video. Perhaps it’s time to upgrade?
For the on demand video if your video seems to be playing faster than its downloading, just hit pause to let it download fully.

When are the magazine shows available?

A full list of dates are available here. Subscribers to triathlonlive.tv will be the first with access to the shows as soon as they are complete.

When is the live replay video available?

This is typically 4 hours post race. Please bear in mind it takes time to encode and upload the video to the system and your patience is appreciated. We going as fast as possible.

Will video work on Firefox/Internet Explorer/Chrome/Safari?

Yes, the player is designed to work in all web browsers that support the Adobe Flash plug-in. If you don’t have a plug-in installed or if you have an older version of the plug-in you’ll be prompted to install the latest version or upgrade it. There is no charge for upgrading or installing the Adobe Flash plug-in.

Can I watch this on TV?

In a lot of cases the shows are available on a TV station in your region. Check our TV page for a full listing. If not you can hook your computer to your TV if it supports A/V output. Please consult your computer manual.

Can I increase the size of the video?

Yes you can watch programmes in full screen mode by clicking on the full screen button located on the video player’s control bar (below the video).

Is it possible to watch the service from different computers?

Yes, the service is also available from different computers. However, the simultaneous use on multiple computers with one login is not permissible.
The transfer of the login data to third parties is not permitted. Accounts in violation of this will be cancelled without refund.

You did not receive the confirmation e-mail after your registration to Triathlonlive.tv?

First check if the confirmation e-mail was filtered as a spam? Was your e-mail address was correctly spelt? You can then contact us.

Live video was free before why do I have to pay now?

There are a couple of reasons for this.
Geoblocking: When broadcasters purchase the rights for their region this increasingly includes online rights. The majority of broadcasters will exempt subscription services and we try and include this in our negotiations.
Costs: As the popularity of the series increases so too do the costs of providing video streaming to our audience. In order to continue to bring you high quality video coverage we need to offset some of the costs involved. We have invested in improving services and still provide free coverage including audio to follow the races.
