Paris 2024 Champion Cassandre Beaugrand heads to the Championship Finals Torremolinos-Andalucia knowing that one more victory on 19 October will make her only the second woman ever to bring home the world and Olympic title in the same year. After seeing the world title slip through his fingers in 2022 and 2023, Alex Yee will again go into the Championship Final as favourite, but well aware that anything could happen. Leo Bergere and Dorian Coninx were the Frenchmen who took advantage in Abu Dhabi and Pontevedra, and Bergere stands in second heading to Torremolinos. Behind them, the likes of Hayden Wilde and Matt Hauser will be ready to strike once more and pounce on any opportunity sent their way when the men go out on 20 October.
